Dr Leesha Nesarajah

Dr. Leesha Nesarajah is a committed and caring obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 10 years of clinical experience. She has a public appointment at the Royal Hospital for Women and is a consultant obstetrician at Frances Perry House.

She completed her Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Newcastle in 2008 and was introduced to obstetrics and gynaecology during her residency years at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. She commenced obstetric training in Victoria at Peninsula Health and the Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg. Leesha completed her fellowship at Royal Women’s Hospital, Parkville as the Principal Obstetrics Registrar. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).

She is dedicated clinical educator, with a special interest in the training of medical students and trainee doctors. She remains actively involved in the mentorship programme at Royal Women’s Hospital.

Leesha has particular expertise in managing complex, high-risk pregnancies of various gestations and a special interest in pre-pregnancy counselling, recurrent miscarriage, and family planning.

She believes in a compassionate, empowering, and holistic approach to the care of her patients. As a specialist obstetrician and mother of two young children, Leesha understands that pregnancy is an exciting and vulnerable journey. She strives to ensure that her patients’ needs and expectations are fulfilled in a safe and supportive environment.

Alli has worked as a Practice Manager since 1993. She started her career as a Division 2 Nurse at the Royal Women’s Hospital. Alli is married and has two children, Lauren and Eddie. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her gorgeous dachshunds, Winnie and Betty.

Libby has been working in the field of Obstetrics since 2000. Libby is married with two children, Lachie and Sophie. Her interests are boxing, travelling and spending time with her family, friends and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Hugo.
